Named after our favourite album by the Ramones, PLEASANT DREAMS was developed as a result of passion for fit and denim. The design vision is urban rockers from the 60’s-70’s with an air of 90’s androgyny, on the day after laundry day.
Having worked many years in the fashion industry, founder Sofie Lee Johansson felt there was one pair of great fitting jeans still missing out there. Free from corporate limitations and common design/buying compromises, the first model ‘1976’ was created and brought to life with the help of a former colleague, Ana Maria, and the craftsmen at Vieira e Faria.
PLEASANT DREAMS is a small, highly independent business that works outside of the regular fashion cycles. We are located in the woods north of Gothenburg, Sweden.
SUSTAINABILITY
We work continuously to improve our sustainability work and decrease our environmental impact:
- We buy small quantities and work within the EU.
- Our jeans are made of organic cotton.
- All package material is recycled.
- Our customers are offered free repairs, or the option to have us re-sell used items.
- To minimise the number of samples we use 3D technology for fitting.
- We prefer using button fly to facilitate repairs.
- We encourage our customers to use our size guide to avoid returns, by offering free shipping when doing so.
