27 May Amazing Ace

Lovely Ann-Sofie has worn her sample of 1976 in Ace almost daily for two months, this is what they look like after the first wash…

The colour is still pretty intense, but you can clearly see some whiskers getting moulded from the wear.

Some colour has rubbed off from the crotch area and as you can see, they’re gonna become more white/grey with more wear and washes. I know it’s not the same as a raw indigo but if a washed out black doesn’t get too red, that’s hot in my book..!

Truth be told, I’m not a big wash nerd (more into fit and seeing the natural shape of this model after wash makes my mouth water…). With that being said, I absolutely love the process of breaking in jeans. Can you wear something more personal than something shaped after your body, with colour fades, cuts and bruises from your everyday wear and life? In my mood boards it says somewhere that Pleasant Dreams is “urban rockers from the 60’s-70’s with an air of 90’s androgyny, on the day after laundry day.”
So here we are. A very small batch of Ace is scheduled to be delivered in two days, I really can’t wait for you to meet 🖤
